Although we take the every precaution to ensure that your system will be running in tip-top shape when you receive it, sometimes fate steps in. Please review our service policies and warranties for more information.

 

Service Policies

In order to provide high-quality Avid Xpress DV systems at low prices, Random Access Video has designed our systems for professionals that can provide ongoing local support of their own machines. Should you need technical assistance, we will offer support services on a per-issue basis, and charges will be determined individually at the time of the service call. Random Access Video will provide a service contract if required (call for pricing).

 

Warranties

We offer our customers a 90-day replacement warranty on all parts (if you ship defective parts directly to Random Access Video). After 90 days, the manufacturers’ warranties still apply. (Most parts carry a three-year manufacturer’s warranty. You will need to contact the manufacturer directly to redeem the warranty.) In case of hardware failure Random Access Video will provide over the phone hardware consultation free of charge.
